Boy Scouts (Web Site)/Cub Scouts (Web Site) offer informal educational programs for boys and young adults between the ages of 7 and 20. Scouting offers a time tested set of activities that have produced fine citizens, strong family members, and community leaders for more than 90 years. St. Catherine’s troops are responsible for a number of community service activities, including collecting food and household goods monthly for the St. Vincent dePaul Society. Comunita Cenacolo

Is your child addicted to drugs, alcohol or other substances? Is he slowly losing hope? Is he in danger of becoming spiritually dead? Do you know of anyone who fits these criteria? If so, please call Diana or Gary Shertenlieb at 770-428-0793, or visit this website www.comunitacenacolo.org/news.html and learn about this faith-filled community which teaches troubled teens and young adults a new way of life. If you missed the presentation by members of this community on April 26 at St. Catherine's, you can still learn about this miraculous, faith-based cure by visiting this website.

If you as a parent have come to your wit's end in dealing with your child's addictions, this is your chance. There is hope! Right now, you can turn your life around while saving your child's life and restoring peace to your family; and the best part of all is that it doesn't cost a penny! This community lives on God's providence alone. This is not a $40,000, $50,000, $100,000 treatment program. This is a revival of the soul and a new way of life.

Pizza and soda are provided; volunteers and participants bring snacks to share.  Adult and teenage volunteers make this ministry possible.  Available to entertain are various games, including card games, chess, and checkers, music, videos, and arts and craft materials.  All levels of disability are welcome.  Participants must provide their own transportation.  Adult volunteers must submit to a background check as required by the Archdiocese of Atlanta.  Participants must complete an emergency medical information form. Please contact Karen Hastings at (770) 529-9176 or karenhastings@comcast.net for more information.

Perpetual Adoration relies on volunteers to spend one hour a week praying and adoring the Lord in the Adoration Chapel. There are adorers constantly praying before the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament 24 hours a day, 7days a week.

Why not spend one hour in front of Our Lord in quiet in our adoration chapel? If you find the peace we know you will by relaxing in the Lord’s presence-return often! Make a visit to the Chapel a regular part of your week.

St. Catherine of Siena Church has been adoring the Blessed Sacrament in our adoration chapel for over six years. You too can participate by signing up for one hour a week or just visiting the chapel as you are able. Eucharistic Adoration substitutes needed Contact Grisselle (678) 290-8692

“The Eucharist is a priceless treasure; by not only celebrating it but also be praying before it outside Mass we are enabled to make contact with the very wellspring of grace”. Pope John Paul II

St. Catherine's Transportation Ministry -Here at St. Catherine's we hope to assist those who would like to attend Mass on weekends and Holy Days but have no transportation.  Also, when possible, we try to help our elder and disabled parishioners who have no other way to get to their healthcare and other important appointments during the week.  To accomplish these good works we need a sufficient number of volunteer drivers who will be generous with their time to help out those in need.  As a volunteer driver you choose how often or how seldom to offer your availability to God and His People in this ministry.  A good driving record and acceptable insurance are among the pre-requisites.  For more information contact : Jennifer at 770-919-7504 or through e-mail at  st.cat_transport@yahoo.com
